Henry earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with emphasis on management, from Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia (a Historically Black College/University). His responsibilities during his twenty-five years in the construction industry have been as estimator, direct supervisor and project manager. He has worked in both residential and commercial Construction on such diverse projects as an energy plant, an airport T-Hanger, office parks, villas, schools, fitness centers, spas, retail facilities and numerous churches.
Henry is an active member of his college fraternity (Kappa Alpha Psi) and its scholarship program, having served as president 5 times. He was a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Manatee County for 2 years and is currently on the board of Sarasota School of Arts & Sciences, a scout master of Boy Scout Troop 888 in Newtown for 5 years, having been an Eagle Scout himself, and is a member of the West Coast Minority Subcontractors Association.
His nine years at Southern Cross have been beneficial both to the company and its clients as he brings his depth of knowledge, experience and integrity to his work.
Jeffrey has spent nineteen years in various segments of the construction industry working as carpenter, wood and metal framer, drywall hanger/finisher, sheet roofer, tiler, painter, wood truss setter, and flooring installer. He has installed fire sprinkler systems and concrete in-ground pool systems, and served as foreman with both companies. He holds a Florida General Contractor’s license.
Jeffrey is a highly motivated, hardworking, dependable and responsible individual whose nine years at Southern Cross have been marked by exceptional contributions to the growth of the company. Jeffrey worked as project superintendant on the Sarasota Military Academy classroom/gymnasium project.
